We visited our local care home to have lunch and a chat with the residents
My friends were bit scared so I showed them how to look after Pearl the African snail
I am teaching my friend how to do their shoe laces.
When we want to share a toy in our nursery we use the timer so everyone gets a turn.
The Pre-schoolers went to the local library to join the Rhyme Time
Some children took an interest in looking at currencies used in the different parts of the world
We found a front in the nursery garden so this led us to look at different insects.
Visit to our local charity shop to donate some much needed clothes.

Getting ready to see the Ramadan moon.
We have been learning about recycling and looking after our environment. Children collected rubbish off the local church yard.
Children brought things in from home to sort out and put into our recycling bins. 
Looking at different cultures and food. We learnt how to use chopsticks.
This year the nursery did the food bank collection in December so we can ensure those celebrating Christmas have enough food during their festive session. We had such a great response from our parents and local community, we were able to help so many families with all the food we collected. The nursery also had a visit from a local reporter who did an article about the nursery on the BBC news (please see link below)
